Leng Jing and I have finish our final project. Base on this concept, we have design a page that introduce different inventions to the children. In our project children can learn inventions from 4 centuries (17,18,19,20), by clicking the photos, an invention information box will appear. I think this project can use by teachers during their teaching. During the data collecting, we have found the information both from books and websites. At first we want to use the picture and sounds obtain from the internet, due to the copyright issued, we finally decided to use pictures and sound that were taken and recorded by ourselves. After we collect all the information, the first software we use is PowerPoint. We use PowerPoint to combine and categories pictures according to their century and than saved them into jpeg format. Then we use flash 8 to continue for main part of our project, since both of our knowledge of flash is 0 before this module. We consider making the project simple and clear. All the techniques we use in our project are learnt by Dr.Churchill during the lesson, this project can also be the reflection of what we have learnt during this module. In this project, my duties were collecting the photos, sounds and information for two centuries, combine the photos by using the powerpoint and making the effect of information box appear after clicking by using flash.
